Bright Spot: alternate spring break

Updated: Thursday, April 3 2014, 06:39 PM EDT

Rochester, N.Y. – Thursday’s bright spot shines on students at R.I.T. who gave up their spring break to help others.

They spent an “alternate spring break” in Atlanta, impacting the lives of at-risk youth and adults.

They tutored students, made lunch at a homeless shelter, and organized a library book recycling event.
