Bright Spot: "School-to-Work" program

Updated: Wednesday, May 21 2014, 06:58 PM EDT

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren stopped by Rochester General Hospital to congratulate the 19 high school juniors who participated in the 25th year of the “School-to-Work” program.

Students enrolled in the program attend classes in the morning and spend afternoons at the hospital to explore job opportunities in the healthcare field.

13WHAM’s bright spot shines on the school district and the hospital for making it possible.
