Bright Spot: Wildlife Defenders at Camp Onseyawa

Updated: Wednesday, August 27 2014, 08:07 PM EDT

Wednesday’s Bright Spot shines on a perfect partnership to create a true camping experience for children with disabilities.

The Wildlife Defenders spent the week at rotary camp Onseyawa providing safe and supervised “wild encounters” with campers.

Camp Onseyawa is for children with disabilities that otherwise would not be able to attend camp.

The Wildlife Defenders, which is run by adults with disabilities, provided a “one of a kind” wildlife encounter each day for the campers.
