Bright Spot: Project onesies for Kenya
Rochester, N.Y. - Monday's Bright Spot shines on Project 1Z, which will help prevent infant mortality in Kenya.
The project is a collaboration between the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester and Operation Karibu.
"The onesies are used as an incentive to give birth in hospitals, therefore reducing infant mortality rates," said Debbie Zarkowsky of the Jewish Federation.
T-shirts are being collected for the next month, which will then be made into onesies for babies in Africa.
The shirts must be cotton, can be new or used and any size or color.
