Bright Spot: Simon Sez

Wednesday's Bright Spot shines on fun with Simon.

His name is Simon Hyman, son of a rabbi, entertainer for kid and corporate events, with a simple goal.

"Laughter, fun, and clapping," said Simon. "I have a motto, it doesn't matter whether you win or lose, it's about having fun."

It's not only fun but also educational teaching kids to listen and work together.

Simon's performance this week at the Hillel School was made possible through a funding grant from Jeff and Lyn Springut, in memory of their son who died last year at the age of 24.

"Gavi's wish was that there should be a lot of unity within the community, so two schools are coming together to participate in this event," said Simon. "I love it. It might not be the best job for everybody but it's the best job for me. I love making people laugh and I think the harder you work it really shows through the laughter of the children."

So Wednesday's Bright Spot shines of the laughter of children and the memory of a son.
