Many Voices, Many Visions, "Allendale Columbia/Wall Therapy"
This week, high school graduates everywhere are walking across stages and stepping from a world that’s familiar to them to one of new experiences. At Allendale Columbia School, graduates have already gotten a sense of what’s beyond Rochester thanks to the Global Diploma Program. Students study multicultural perspectives and even get the chance to travel abroad.
Plus, no doubt you've seen them-- city buildings decked out in giant-sized art. From the whimsical, the political, to the provocative, Wall Therapy bills itself as a visual intervention project transforming urban spaces to inspire and build community. Since 2011, Wall Therapy has created more than 115 murals that literally stop traffic in some cases.
