Flu restrictions lifted for visitors at RGH, Rochester Regional hospitals
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - Flu restrictions have been lifted at several local hospitals as flu cases begin to decline.
Rochester General Hospital, Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic, Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, and Unity Hospital all removed restrictions at their hospitals Tuesday.
Visitor restrictions are still in place at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia at this time.
People with fever or respiratory illness symptoms should delay their hospital visits until they have been symptom-free for 24 hours, according to hospital officials.
The flu restrictions at the Rochester Region Health Systems facilities have been in place since mid-January.
