Pediatricians: Teens should be screened for suicide risks
UNDATED - The nation's top pediatricians believe teens should be screened for suicide risks.
The American Academy of Pediatricians says suicide is now the second leading cause of death among teens.
Pediatricians are urged to look for risk factors.
These factors include a history of physical abuse, sexual abuse, mood disorders, substance abuse and teens who are gay.
Bullying is also a significant risk factor added to the report.
