Lakeview Eye Care/Better View Optical
Lakeview Eye Care
Ever since the practice was established in 1987, the mission of Lakeview Eye Care is to provide compassionate, thoughtful care. Comprehensive, current Eye Medicine and Surgery are delivered with individual focus. We are extremely proud of Better View Optical Shop with its stylish eyewear, carefully fitted contact lenses, and professional, precise service.
At Lakeview Eyecare, we offer a broad spectrum of eye medicine and surgery. Like a boutique, we give customized, sophisticated care to each patient. Located in the Maplewood district, across from the beautiful rose garden, we provide care to patients from the entire Rochester region.
Eye medicine services include general examinations to analyze eye health and potential issues such as diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts, strabismus, and macular degeneration. Based on our evaluations, we generate a care plan, which, when necessary, might entail diagnostic testing such as visual fields or OCT (Ocular Coherence Tomography), spectacle correction, medication, or surgery. It is our goal to educate our patients about their eyes and to implement a lifetime of good eye health.
Major surgical procedures encompass cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants, glaucoma surgery, and strabismus correction to realign the eyes.
Our optical shop presents a large variety of current and stylish frames, which are precisely fitted and equipped with lenses ground and finished at a custom lab. We also conscientiously fit and instruct how to use contact lenses for standard prescriptions, astigmatism, keratoconus, and presbyopia.
