Study: pot smokers perform worse on memory tests

Updated: Thursday, January 16 2014, 12:35 PM EST

Researchers in Chicago found that even moderate pot use damaged the sub-cortical part of the brain over a two-year period.

They also found that those who had smoked marijuana in the last two years performed significantly worse on memory tests than those who hadn't.
