Bronson, Barnhart primary comes to a close
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - One of the Rochester area's most hotly-contested primary races will come to a head Tuesday night.
Newcomer Rachel Barnhart aims to upseat incumbent Harry Bronson in the Democratic primary for the 138th Assembly District for New York state.
The two squared off in a debate last week which featured some heated exchanges regarding campaign rhetoric, new ideas for downtown Rochester, and how each opponent's respective campaign has handled criticism from the other side.
Barnhart went door to door Monday night to drum up more support. Bronson spent the night calling supporters and constituents to ensure votes on Tuesday.
The 138th District encompasses parts of Chili, Henrietta, and Rochester.
