Geva unveils 11 shows for upcoming 2017-2018 season

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - Eleven productions, shows and events will be coming to Geva Theatre as part of its upcoming 2017-2018 season.

The plays and musical productions range from history to comedy to tragedy and beyond. A Christmas Carol, which is regarded by many as a Rochester holiday tradition, will return.

The other performances in the 2017-2018 season will be:

  • A reading of Hamilton: September 20, 2017 (One night only)
  • In The Heights: September 5 - October 8, 2017
  • Smart People: October 5 – October 22, 2017
  • The Agitators: The Story of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass: October 17 - November 12, 2017
  • A Christmas Carol: November 22 – December 24, 2017
  • The Other Josh Cohen: January 9 - February 4, 2018
  • Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End: January 25 – February 11, 2018
  • The Diary of Anne Frank: February 13 - March 18, 2018
  • Heartland: March 17 – April 1, 2018
  • One House Over: April 3 – April 29, 2018
  • Steel Magnolias: May 8 - June 3, 2018

ESL Federal Credit Union and Rochester Regional Health will be sponsoring the Wilson Stage Series.

This is the 45th year for the non-profit theatre.
