Man shot on Scrantom Street

Rochester, N.Y. – A 60-year-old man is being treated for multiple gunshot wounds after he was shot on Scrantom Street around 1 p.m. Monday.
According to police, despite multiple wounds, the victim is expected to live.
A large section of Scrantom Street was closed down Monday while police spoke with neighbors about what they saw and heard.
“I came out the backyard because I heard some shots, he was just walking up to me, walked up and said somebody shot him and hopped in the car and pulled off. He just dropped,” said Jon, a neighbor who heard the incident.
Police said they believe the gun used was a handgun.
No suspects are currently in custody and police are looking for a white SUV that may have been involved.
