Rochester, N.Y. - Two Downtown Rochester streets were closed early Wednesday morning due to visibility issues.
Rochester police said steam pouring from a manhole cover was to blame.
Crews are heading to the scene to excavate the pipe and investigate a cause.
As of 9 a.m. Wednesday morning, the only closure is Swan Street at East Ave., but Swan will still be accessible via Main Street. East Avenue is now open.
According to the DES director, roadwork would be limited to the intersection of East and Swan.
