Washington – A second American journalist has reportedly been executed by ISIS, the Islamic terrorist group.
A video posted online Tuesday appears to show 31-year-old Steve Sotloff, a freelance journalist addressing the camera.
U.S. Intelligence experts are trying to determine the authenticity of the video.
“Obama, your foreign policy of intervention in Iraq was supposed to be for preservation of American lives and interests, so why is it that I am paying the price of your interference with my life,” Sotloff said in the video.
Sotloff’s apparent death comes two weeks after journalist James Foley was beheaded.
In the still unauthenticated execution video, a militant holding a knife at his side, says that he is “back” in response to U.S. airstrikes in Iraq.
President Obama made his way to Europe Tuesday to talk with NATO allies about taking action against ISIS.
Reports are saying at least two other American journalists are held captive by ISIS.
