Boston - The runners in a coast-to-coast relay supporting Boston Marathon runners have reached Copley Square 24 days after they began.
The non-stop relay was organized as a fundraiser for those injured by the Boston Marathon bombings.
A baton, passed from runner to runner all the way from Los Angeles to Boston was carried across the finish line by John Odom. His daughter was pushing his wheelchair.
Odom’s leg was severely injured by one of the blasts.
Runners had raised nearly $76,000 toward their $100,000 goal.
