Henrietta, N.Y. - The Monroe County Hazmat Team has determined nothing suspicious was found inside an apartment at 80 Colony Manor at RIT.
The bomb squad and hazmat teams were called to an on-campus apartment Monday evening after a student became ill.
The illness was believed to have been caused by a substance the student brought into the apartment.
The student is being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital.
The hazmat team thoroughly checked the apartment and ruled nothing was found that would have caused someone to become sick.
The apartment will remain closed until it is cleaned.
The Colony Manor apartment complex is open to residents.
