Rochester, N.Y. - Labor Day Monday’s Bright Spot shines on the team at Olive Garden.
Employees from more than 800 Olive Garden restaurants nationwide delivered lunches to first responders and hospitals today.
Firefighters at the Henrietta Fire department were among the recipients.
“It’s nice that they recognize those who are working today on Labor Day. Today we got a phone call from Olive Garden saying they were bringing lunch and they’ve done it in the past, a couple years ago, and it’s just a nice gesture from a local restaurant,” said Hank Graf of the Henrietta Fire department.
It’s the 13th year the restaurant chain has delivered meals as a “thank you” to those who serve our community.
