Parma, N.Y. – A car accident on Trimmer Road around 3 a.m. Saturday led to the arrest of one man for driving while intoxicated, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
According to investigators, a car driven by Connor Northrup, 18, of Ogden, was heading east on Pine Hill Road, didn’t stop at the stop sign, crossed the intersection of Trimmer Road and drove up on the lawn of a home, hit two cars and the house.
The driver then fled the scene, leaving behind the exhaust system and license plates, which were traced back to Northrup, police said.
Officers of the Ogden Police Department also responded to the scene and spotted two men running down Ogden-Parman Town Line Road. The two men, Northrup and his passenger, Christopher Fein, 17, of Spencerport were both injured in the accident but refused medical attention.
The car involved in the accident was found at Northrup’s home, where, according to investigators, he admitted to taking it after the accident.
The several people in the house that was hit were not hurt.
