Lyme disease reported in Monroe Co.

Monroe County, N.Y. – Cases of Lyme disease are being reported in Monroe County.
The Monroe County Health Department said there are 18 confirmed cases so far this year.
Lyme disease is a bacterial infection transmitted through tick bites.
The health department will be placing signs in parks making people aware of the dangers of ticks.
