Strangers rescue man in Canandaigua Lake

Canandaigua, NY - Two people are credited with rescuing a man who nearly drowned in Canandaigua Lake.  

Canandaigua police said Mitchell Crist, 19, noticed John Curtis Wyer, 66, unresponsive in the water.  

Crist went into the water and brought Wyer closer to shore and started to administer CPR.

Another person at Kershaw Park,  Robin Pacello, 53, helped Crist administer CPR.

 Wyer is in guarded condition at Highland Hospital.
