Henrietta, N.Y. - A new chapter begins for a hard working group of Rochester City School graduates.

32 of the district's students have been accepted into Rochester Institute of Technology's Destler-Johnson City Scholars program.

On Monday, they were honored during a welcome ceremony.

"I think that our classes will be richer," said Vice President & Associate Provost for Diversity & Inclusion at RIT Keith Jenkins. "Our student clubs and organizations will be richer. Our campus will be richer because they are here."

The students come from several schools in Rochester.
