Aldi expected to reopen Irondequoit location late this month

Irondequoit, N.Y. (WHAM) - The Aldi store in Irondequoit is slated to re-open later this month after months of renovations.

The new addition, interior remodel and site improvements were being made to the Hudson Avenue store.

Empire Commercial Construction has been working with with APD Engineering and Architecture on construction of the store.

The 16,852-square-foot space should be completed by the end of February, according to Empire Commercial Construction Project Executive Josh Myers.

Aldi plans to have almost 2,000 stores open by the end of 2018.

There are 20 stores in the Rochester region.
