Bar holds benefit to help family of mother killed in crash
Victor, N.Y. - A popular bar in Victor held a fundraiser Saturday for the woman killed in a three-vehicle crash in Mendon last month.
Hannah Kline was a mother of two, her life taken at the hands of an alleged drunk driver.
On Saturday, Finn's Tap Room & Party House, where Hannah and her mother once worked, helped raise money for Kline's family, specifically the two young daughters she left behind.
“They're doing very well. “It's very tragic what happened to her. Hannah was a great, great girl,” said Kevin Donnelly, the general manager at Finn’s.
“About 200 people came so far, it's a great turnout. A lot of people celebrating Hannah, so it's going really well,” said Donnelly.
Several bands played at the benefit.
There were also raffles and auctions featuring Bills and Sabres memorabilia.
The suspect in the fatal crash, Louie Restivo, 47, knew Kline. He is charged with vehicular manslaughter.
