Carriage driving competition draws riders from across U.S.
Pittsford, N.Y. - It's a sight you don't see often in the Rochester area: horse drawn carriages, and lots of them.
The 46th Walnut Hill Carriage Driving Competition was a big hit in Pittsford Saturday despite some showers.
Some travel from all over the country to compete and perform every year.
"It's wonderful, it's so much to look at out there and see people watching and see the beautiful carriages go by," said Desiree Herrmann. "Takes a little time off their busy schedule and enjoy some beautiful horses."
The competitors polish the carraiges every hour.
They're judged on every detail from performance to horse to dress.
