GREECE, N.Y. (WHAM) - Chick-fil-A’s expansion in the Rochester area continues with a groundbreaking event at the site of its new Greece restaurant, the second of four locations the chain expects to open in the region this year.

The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on Wednesday January 3rd at 2140 West Ridge Road.

The new 5,056-square-foot Greece restaurant will offer indoor seating for 120 with additional patio seating for 20, as well as a two-story playground for children.

When it opens, the location is expected to create upwards of 100 new jobs.

The Greece restuarant is projected to open after the first Upstate New York Chick-fil-A opens in Cicero, outside Syracuse, in Feburary.
