Community Advisory Council welcomes new members
Rochester, N.Y. – The Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative congratulated more than a dozen new members of its Community Advisory Council Tuesday.
15 members were commissioned and will be helping with neighborhood-based decision-making processes.
Each member was given a certificate of membership. Rochester mayor Lovely Warren was on hand for the ceremony.
The poverty initiative is looking to reduce poverty in our area by 15 percent over the next 15 years.
