UPDATE: Monroe County Sheriff's deputies say Louie Restivo has been charged with vehicular manslaughter in connection with Monday's fatal crash in Mendon.

Deputies said he was charged with vehicular manslaughter in the first degree because of a prior conviction of DWAI in 2008.

Restivo was ticketed for DWI and failure to yield the right of way in connection with Monday's crash. He was arraigned in the Mendon Town Court Monday night and remanded to Monroe County Jail on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond. He is due back in court later this week.

A GoFundMe page has been started, aiming at raising funds for Hannah Kline's family to help with funeral expenses.

(WHAM) - A Henrietta man has been charged with DWI after deputies say a woman was killed in a 3-vehicle crash he caused in Mendon Monday morning.

It happened around 7:50 a.m. near the corner of Boughton Hill Road and Hunt Club Road.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the crash involved a dump truck, car and pickup truck.

A dump truck was heading west on Boughton Hill Road as a pickup truck was driving east on the same road. The pickup truck, driven by 47-year-old Louie Restivo, turned left in front of the dump truck and stopped in the road before driving into a construction area in the grass.

The dump truck driver, 48-year-old Aaron Bassage, tried to stop the dump truck as the pickup truck turned in front of it, but crashed into a third vehicle that was driving behind Restivo's pickup truck.

The driver of the third vehicle, 26-year-old Hannah Kline, was killed in the collision.

Neither Restivo nor Bassage were injured.

Restivo was arrested for DWI; Bassage was ticketed for operating out of class, operating out of restrictions, and brakes out of service.
