Deputies: Livonia woman found slumped over steering wheel arrested

LIVONIA, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Livonia woman was arrested on drug charges after deputies say she was found slumped over the steering wheel of her car Tuesday afternoon.

According to Livingston County Sheriff's deputies, they received a 911 call around 4:30 p.m. for a driver whose car was all over the road and was stopped at Stone Hill Rd. and Plank Rd.

Deputies say they responded and found 40-year-old Heather Robinson slumped over the steering wheel.

A deputy was able to wake her up and conduct roadside sobriety tests.

After searching Robinson's vehicle, heroin and two suboxone strips were found inside.

Robinson was arrested and charged with DWAI-drugs and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th.

Robinson was arraigned and remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $500 cash or $1,000 bond.
