Eight adults with disabilities celebrate Graduation Day

The ceremony was held at the Rochester Marriott Airport, where many have been training for the past twelve months.

Rochester, N.Y. - Eight adults with disabilities, who took part in an employment program, celebrated Graduation Day Thursday.

Project Search is a pilot program created by the Arc of Monroe. It is designed to transition adults from sheltered workplaces into community employment.

The ceremony was held at the Rochester Marriott Airport, where many have been training for the past twelve months.

Two of the graduates have already found jobs.

The Del Monte Hotel Group hosted the pilot program.

Project search has a success rate of 70 percent.
