Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - The four suspects accused in a Penfield man's murder last summer returned to court Thursday morning for an evidence hearing.

Laura, Colin and Alex Rideout, and Paul Tucci are charged with murder and evidence tampering in the death of Craig Rideout, 50, last summer.

The trial is scheduled for June 20.

The defense attorney for Alex Rideout requested for the courtroom and all of the documents to be sealed. Judge Thomas Moran denied the request.

Craig Rideout was found dead wrapped in a tarp and tied with bungee cords in July in a wooded area of Jerusalem, Yates County. Some sort of acid or corrosive material was poured over his face to disfigure him and/or prevent him from being identified.

Court papers indicate he was strangled in the basement of his Penfield home by a cord wrapped completely around his neck.
