Fire forces 14 out of apartments in Rochester
Rochester, N.Y. - 14 people were forced out of their apartments in Rochester Tuesday night by a fire.
Flames ate through a building on South Clinton Avenue, near Gregory Street just before 8:30 p.m.
Two businesses and seven apartments were damaged.
Everyone was able to get out safely. Crews said the fire took about an hour to get under control, partly due to the wind.
The Red Cross is helping 11 adults and three children with housing.
It's unclear what caused the fire.
