Former Rochester doctor found guilty in fetal homicide

A former Rochester doctor will be serving three years in prison after he caused his ex-girlfriend to lose her baby.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHAM) - A former Rochester doctor will be serving three years in prison after he caused his ex-girlfriend to lose her baby.

Sikander Imran appeared in a Virginia court on Friday.

The Arlington, Virginia, doctor was found guilty of slipping an abortion pill into his ex-girlfriend Brooke Fiske's tea.

Fiske is from Farmington and was 17 weeks pregnant at the time.

The pill caused Fiske to go into premature labor, the infant did not survive.

Irman was arrested in May 2017 and pleaded guilty to fetal homicide in March 2018.

In court on Friday, Friske asked the judge to give Irman a lighter punishment.

Irman lost his license when he was arrested.

According to WJLA, Irman could be deported back to Pakistan after serving his three year sentence.
