Livonia man accused of stealing guns, selling them

CONESUS, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Livonia man was arrested Sunday after an investigation into stolen guns in the town of Conesus.

According to Livingston County Sheriff's deputies, two different people called the Livingston County Sheriff's Office on Sunday to report guns being stolen from their homes.

Deputies soon learned Jeffery Walker, 20, had two of the stolen guns. Subsequently, deputies learned Walker illegally sold one of the stolen guns to another person.

Walker was arrested and charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of stolen property 4th and one felony count of criminal purchase or disposal of a weapon.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.

Two of the guns have been recovered; more charges are possible.
