Man pleads not guilty to driving drunk, killing 6-month-old daughter
Webster/Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - The man accused of driving drunk and causing the crash that killed his six-month-old daughter on Halloween night pleaded not guilty to ten charges Monday morning.
Isaac McCrea, 33, pleaded not guilty to two counts of vehicular manslaughter that caused the death of a child passenger 1st, six counts of aggravated DWI with a child passenger, DWI with a BAC of .08 or higher, and DWI.
Police said Mccrea was driving on Rt. 104 East near Barrett Drive just before 11 p.m. on October 31. His three children were passengers in an SUV when he crossed over an access road and slammed into a tree.
State Police say of the three children, six-month-old Karena was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other two children - Kahiri Mccrea, a 5-year-old boy, and Khyree Mccrea, a 2-year-old girl- were injured, as well.
On Monday morning, McCrea had his license suspended by the judge.
He is scheduled to be back in court on January 8.
