Mark's Pizzeria tackles busiest delivery day on Super Bowl Sunday
Fairport, N.Y. - Mark's Pizzeria had a busy day for Super Bowl Sunday.
Employees were working all day preparing for hundreds of orders that were expected to come in.
Mark's Pizzeria anticipated about 400 orders at each location Sunday.
That's twice as many on any given normal day.
"We get here around 7:30 and then we start prepping chicken wings, and blue cheese, and celery," said owner Mark Crane. "It's just a whole day of prepping and getting ready for that two and a half hours of the big crunch. It's just chaos, the kids work their tails off. They do a great job though."
Crane says the busiest time of the day is usually between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
