Where to go to catch July 4th fireworks, parades, festivities

Here's what's going on in and around the Rochester area for the 2017 Fourth of July weekend:

In the City of Rochester, fireworks will blast off at 10 pm, with the night's festivities kicking off at 7:30 with a jazz performance on the Main Street Bridge by The Judah Sealy Band kicks.

That will be followed by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra performing patriotic songs at 9 pm.

Conesus Lake Ring of Fire: July 3rd at 10 pm

Ontario County

Canandaigua Fireworks: July 4th at 9:45 pm

Farmington Fireworks: July 3rd, 2017 @ 8pm

City of Geneva fireworks: July 3, 2017 @ 10 p.m.

Geneva: Independence Day Festival: July 4th, 2017 at 10am - 12pm

Wayne County

Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum July Fourth Extravaganza: July 1st-July 4th, 2017 // Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum will be open from 10am-5pm each day with free admission on the 2nd

Monroe County

Brighton Fourth of July Festivities: Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 // 5k race @ 8am, festivities @ 2pm, live entertainment @ 2:30pm and fireworks @ approx. 9:55pm

Fairport Fourth of July Festivities: Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 // race @ 8am, parade at @ 10am, Party at Perinton Park is 11am-4pm on Fairport Road
