Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - The two men accused of accidentally shooting a man in Parma last October were indicted by a grand jury.

Matthew Rodgers, 35, and Ryan Pellman, 34, were indicted on charges of assault 2nd and reckless endangerment 2nd.

Rodgers and Pellman are accused of shooting paper targets without a backdrop in Parma. While shooting, one of the rounds accidentally hit Kevin Flannery in the stomach, who had been mowing his lawn at the time.

Back in March, Monroe County Senior Assistant District Attorney Christine Callanan said Flannery has made a "remarkable recovery."

The trial is scheduled to begin September 25 in front of Judge Alex Renzi.
