Motorcyclist seriously injured in Henrietta crash, deputies say
Henrietta, N.Y. (WHAM) - Monroe County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a motorcycle crash Tuesday night that left a man with serious injuries.
Deputies were called around 9 p.m. about a motorcycle crash on Erie Station Road.
According to investigators, 53-year-old Ronald Defrank was driving south "at a high rate of speed" on the road, and passed another driver on a solid yellow line.
Shortly afterward, the driver said he saw sparks up ahead in the road where Defrank reportedly lost control of his motorcycle and flew off.
Defrank was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
