Penn Yan, N.Y. – The owner of a Penn Yan bar was indicted on a number of charges related to allegations of sexual assault at the bar on Christmas Eve 2017.

Bob Champlin, owner of Lloyd’s Limited A Pub, was indicted by a Yates County grand jury on one count of first-degree criminal sex act, one count of first-degree attempted rape, four counts of first-degree sexual abuse, four counts of forcible touching and one count of unlawfully dealing with a child.

The charges stem from an alleged incident at the pub on Christmas Eve. Cell phone video purportedly captured an alleged assault that happened after the bar was closed. After reviewing surveillance tapes, police said the person who took the video, whom they identified as an employee at the bar, became a victim in another incident in the early hours of Christmas Day.
