Farmington, N.Y. (WHAM) - A man and his dog will have a great start together to their holiday season.

Rugby, a 2-year-old pit bull mix, was the first dog to be part of the "New Leash on Life" program through the Monroe County Jail and Lollypop Farm. Volunteers work with inmates to train them as dog handlers and pair them with homeless dogs who need some extra love.
