Police: Man sold cocaine to undercover cop with 3 year old in room

Gates, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Rochester man was arrested Thursday afternoon after police say he sold them cocaine with a child in the room.

Gates Police said they set up an undercover buy at a motel on Lyell Avenue.

An undercover officer showed up at the motel to buy the drugs and 22-year-old Denzel Loyd sold it to him.

The officer said there was a 3-year-old child in the room with him while he was selling drugs. Police also found more cocaine and heroin during the arrest.

Loyd was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was arraigned and sent to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.
