Resources for flooding in Monroe County
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) – A comprehensive list of resources for people living along Lake Ontario who are dealing with flooding was released Friday.
First responders will respond to pump out standing water from basements or crawl spaces. To get help call 911 and ask for your local fire department to help.
Avoid standing water and electricity at all costs.
The New York State DEC Coastal Erosion Team is available in Monroe County to expedite permits for repairs and remediation work. DEC Permitting can be reached at 585-226-5400.
