Seal, Bela Fleck, Alison Krauss to headline Jazz Festival
Rochester, N.Y. —
The Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival (XRIJF) has announced the first three headliners for its 17th edition, running June 22nd – June 30th.
Producer Marc Iacona appeared on Good Day Rochester on 13WHAM to announce those headliners, who will perform at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre. They are:
-- Seal will headline opening night, Friday, June 22nd. The multiple Grammy winner recently released a collection of standards called “Luck Be A Lady.”
-- Bela Fleck & The Flecktones will headline Tuesday, June 26th. It will be their second time at XRIJF, having performed a sold-out show there in 2011.
-- Alison Krauss will headline Wednesday, June 27th. The bluegrass singer-songwriter is a two-time Grammy nominee in 2018 for Best Country Solo Performance and Best American Root Performance.
