Search warrant application alleges evidence of fraud by Morgan Management employees
Rochester, N.Y. – A federal application for a search warrant is giving a glimpse into the investigation surrounding Morgan Management, LLC.
An affidavit filed last week accuses Morgan Management Vice President Kevin Morgan and Project Manager Todd Morgan, as well as mortgage broker Frank Giacobbe and Patrick Ogiony, an employee of Giacobbe, of violating wire and bank fraud laws. Agents say evidence provides probable cause to believe the four provided false information to make it appear their properties’ incomes were higher than they actually were. This, the FBI says, was done in an effort to secure loans greater than what would have normally been authorized.
The search warrant application, filed May 10, sought information and records associated with email accounts belonging to the Morgans.
On Monday, the FBI raided the offices of Morgan Management on Pittsford-Victor Road. A spokesperson for the FBI said agents conducted “court-authorized activity,” but the nature of the search and its purpose were not released.
Morgan Management has ties to a number of projects in the Rochester area, including an entertainment complex project at Rochester’s Parcel 5.
