Heavy rains drench Livingston, parts of Monroe and Ontario Counties
Livingston County, N.Y. – A flash flood warning was issued for Livingston and parts of Monroe and Ontario Counties Thursday evening.
While the flood watch was set to end at 10 p.m., the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office issued a travel advisory through midnight.
Images of water flowing onto and overtaking roadways could be seen throughout Livingston County, including in the area of Spring and Sackett Roads in Avon and West Lake Road in Geneseo.
In Monroe County, stretches of Route 590 had lanes shut down due to water on the road.
