Snowplow truck catches fire near Ridgeway Avenue

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - No one was injured when a snowplow truck caught fire Thursday morning in Rochester.

This happened around 9:50 a.m. near the intersection of Ridgeway Avenue and Holleder Parkway.

Rochester firefighters responded and were able to put out the flames. Rochester Police were also on scene, but did not have any information about the fire when contacted by 13WHAM News.

Witnesses said nearby business had to evacuate employees for a short time as a precaution.

Rochester firefighters said the driver was not injured and no buildings were involved in the fire.
