Ontario, N.Y. (WHAM) - State Police are searching for three suspects accused of stealing scrap metal and new building materials from a home in Ontario.

The homeowner, Aron Thompson, said the equipment is worth about $2,000.

The image seen above shows the three suspects at the home as they attempt to steal tractor equipment.

Due to the weight of the equipment, the suspects were forced to walk away with other materials. Some of that included metal needed for home renovations.

"It's frustrating. I just lost my father just three weeks ago," Thompson said. "So it's frustrating having to deal with basically stupid people think they can do what they want."

Thompson said he noticed things were missing last month, but didn't pay much attention because of his father's recent death.

The robberies have happened three different times in the last two months.

"It just angers me that people are just bold enough doing it in the middle of the daylight," Thompson said. "It's one thing at night when people are sleeping and can't really, you don't expect to see somebody. I want them caught. I want them charged because if they're doing that to me, you know they're doing that to other people as well."

Anyone with information about these suspects should call Crime Stoppers at 423-9300.
