Fairport, N.Y. (WHAM) - The cat which was stolen from Lollypop Farm last week is now back safe.

Lollypop Farm posted on its Facebook page that Allie, the 10-week-old kitten, was taken Friday.

According to officials, a 16-year-old girl from Spencerport visited the main Lollypop Farm shelter on Friday with several friends to find out about cat adoption. Upon learning all adopters need to be 21 to take home an animal, Lollypop Farm says the girl took Allie from the adoption floor and left the shelter with her.

On Monday, Lollypop Farm released security photos of the four individuals who were at the shelter Friday in hopes of talking with them about the incident.

Although shaken and scared, Allie appears to be in good health and will be checked out by our veterinary clinic.

The teen was arrested and charged with petit larceny. She faces up to a year in prison and a $1,000 fine if convicted. She is scheduled to appear in Perinton Town Court on May 23 at 4:30 p.m.
