Student at Williamson BOCES charged with threatening shooting
Williamson, N.Y. (WHAM) - State Police arrested a student at the Wayne Tech & Career Center Tuesday morning for allegedly threatening a shooting.
According to our news partners at the Times of Wayne County, Matthew Conlin is accused of threatening a "mass casualty event."
Conlin had no weapon, the Times reports.
School officials put the Center on lockout, as well as nearby schools just in case.
Police arrested Conlin and charged him with making a terroristic threat, a felony.
Last September, another student at the Center threatened to bomb the building. He was also arrested.
Conlin was arraigned and remanded to jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in Williamson Town Court on June 13.
